Our recommendation
We always recommend one of these two options:
- Fly to Vigo Airport and take Juan Jose’s taxi from there to Anceu (~€45, ~40 min).
- Arrive in Pontevedra (by train or bus) and take Juan Jose’s taxi from there to Anceu (~€30).

How to reach Vigo or Pontevedra
Vigo Airport (recommended)
The simplest option: fly to Vigo and ask Juan Jose to pick you up at the airport.
Getting to Pontevedra (recommended)
If you’re coming by train or bus, your destination is Pontevedra. From there, Juan Jose drives you to Anceu.
Other airports
If you fly to Santiago or Porto, the most practical route is to continue to Pontevedra (or Vigo) and take Juan Jose’s taxi from there:
- Santiago de Compostela (~1 h to Anceu by direct taxi, €120) — bus to Santiago train station, train to Pontevedra, then Juan Jose.
- Porto (~2 h) — Alsa, Autna or FlixBus to Pontevedra or Vigo, then Juan Jose.

Public transport to Ponte Caldelas
If you prefer the bus, you can reach Ponte Caldelas and arrange with Juan Jose for the last leg (€10).
