House guidelines

General

  1. WiFi is open.
  2. Smoking outside is allowed only if you pick up cigarette butts and empty ashtrays.
  3. Anceu is pet friendly.
  4. You are expected to clean after yourself after using the kitchen and common areas.
  5. Don’t forget your personal belongings in the common areas. The lost & found box is in the creative corridor.
  6. Turn off the lights and appliances before leaving common areas.
  7. Join our Slack to stay updated: click here to join. You’ll be added to #da-haus once you’re in Anceu.

Cafetería

  1. Clean up after yourself.
  2. Monday, Wednesday and Friday we have common dinners (cafeteria or patio depending on weather). On Fridays, we decide who cooks and cleans.

Corridor

  1. One box per person in the pantry. Keep your space clean. Pantry is cleaned every Monday.
  2. Anceu Inn — the wall with photos of all current colivers. Fill in your profile so people can get to know you.
  3. Cloth Napkin System — label your designated napkin holder with your name. Use it during meals and return it to its spot. Any napkins left out will be sent for washing.

Drink and freezer room

  1. Drinks: 1€, wine: 8€, ice creams: 1€.
  2. Write a note on the board.
  3. Label your food before storing it in the freezer.
  4. Here you’ll also find shared vegetables, fruits for dinners, the free food fridge, and the dinner ingredients fridge.

Kitchen

  1. Leave the kitchen clean after yourself.
  2. We save leftovers for our neighbor’s pigs.
  3. Empty the sink strainers after washing.
  4. Recycle your waste:
    • Glass — empty and rinse bottles and jars
    • Plastic & aluminium — goes together, needs to be rinsed
    • Paper — must be completely clean (no napkins, no paper coffee cups)
  5. Tap water is drinkable.
  6. Put dry kitchen cutlery and utensils in storage before washing your things.
  7. Common dinners cost 5€ per dinner × 3 per week = 15€/week (Healthy Co-cooking project).
  8. Free bread is part of the weekly groceries.
  9. One fridge shelf per person — labelled with your room number.
  10. Free food fridge — before you leave, move your food from your shelf to the free food fridge.
  11. Dinner ingredients fridge — please don’t use these, they’re for preparing dinner.
  12. Dishwasher — for dishes, glasses, and cutlery only. Rinse items before loading. Empty it once clean. To start: empty the filter, insert it, press ON, then press Play.

Creative corridor

  1. Anceu book — share your ideas before leaving.
  2. Medical kit is here.
  3. White cupboard: beach towels, craft materials, crepe maker, beach fridge, hairdryers, cushions for outdoor chairs.
  4. Lost and found box is also in this white cupboard.

Cleaning room

Cleaning products, toilet paper, shower gel, and soap.

Chill House

  1. Gym equipment in the cupboard.
  2. Leave the room as you found it.
  3. Lost & found box is in the creative corridor next to the kitchen.

Laundry room

  1. Washing machine hours: 11:30 am to 8:00 pm.
  2. Washing: 2€ · Machine drying: 1€.
  3. Write a note on the board.
  4. Laundry detergents in the cupboard.
  5. Hammocks and sun beds available here too.

Coworkings

  1. Keep the space clean and quiet.
  2. Use the shelves to store your things.

Rooms

Rooms are cleaned once per week from 10:00 to 12:00.

Galicia has ~70% humidity. Use the dehumidifier to keep your room comfortable and mold-free.

The soap is organic tea tree soap, suitable for body and hair.

Atelier

Materials available here to feed your curiosity and develop new ideas.

Printer

There is a printer in Africa and Agustín’s house. Prices:

  • Black and white: 0.50€/page
  • Color: 1€/page
