Communal dinners
Communal dinners are a core part of life at Anceu Coliving — a great way to connect, share experiences, and eat well together.
How it works
We have dinner together three times a week — Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — starting at 20:00–20:30. People often stay until 23:00 to chat, but you’re free to leave whenever you like.
Colivers are divided into small groups of three. Each group takes turns handling cooking and cleaning. With 3 dinners per week, there are 3 groups. If you cook on Wednesday, you won’t need to cook again until the following week.
Healthy Co-cooking Project
We follow the guidelines of our Healthy Co-cooking Project to prepare nutritious meals using simple techniques.
Up-Cycling Dinners (Fridays)
On Fridays we creatively cook with leftover ingredients from the week to reduce food waste.
Planning dinners
Every Friday we choose the teams that will cook the following week. Once you know your team and the dinner theme, you’ll plan recipes together and add ingredients to Monday’s grocery list.
Cost
5€ per dinner × 3 dinners = 15€ per week. Communal dinners are voluntary — you can choose to participate some weeks and skip others.
Notes
- Not comfortable cooking for a large group? You can help by setting the table or cleaning — all contributions are valued.
- Common dinners happen in the cafeteria or in the courtyard, depending on the weather.
